Client testimonials

We wanted to bring in some external support and expertise in commercial events. Lucy came highly recommended, and after initial discussions, and a brief, provided us with a really comprehensive set of options on how we could shape our existing products. She brought bags of invaluable market insight, along with great themes and ideas which we've been able to use as the basis for some family experiences to pilot.

I would really recommend Lucy for anyone looking for a consultant who brings relevant experience and a wonderful can-do attitude.

Consultancy FAQs

What types of organisations do you work with?

Museums, galleries, heritage venues, visitor attractions and organisations working alongside the sector. I work across different scales, from national institutions to independent venues.

How long does a consultancy project usually last?

It depends on the scope. Some projects are relatively contained - an options appraisal, a business plan, an audience review. Others run over several months where programme development or ongoing support is involved. We agree the scope clearly in the proposal.

Can you work alongside our existing team?

Yes. I bring expertise and capacity your team doesn’t currently have, work closely with the people who know your organisation.

What’s the difference between your consultancy and your coaching?

Consultancy focuses on the organisation - the events, the programme, the commercial decisions. Coaching focuses on the individual or team leading that work. Many clients find the two complement each other naturally. A discovery call is a good place to work out which fits best.

Do you have availability for new projects?

Availability varies depending on timing and scope. The earlier we talk, the easier it is to plan well.
